The Piccolo Theater Company (PTC) was founded in 1994 as the first-ever public theater company run by a prefecture in Japan.
PTC has focused on producing the works by leading contemporary Japanese playwrights.
PTC also passionately pursues promoting drama education in high schools and at a variety of regional cultural institutions.
